After years of planning, purging my belongings, selling the house, then even more purging, I was finally able to buy my first RV. I had to go to Montana to get the options I wanted and let me tell you, driving 2200 miles alone and never having towed a trailer before was NOT the way to start out. I had several challenges (nothing like locking yourself out of your camper you've had less than a week) and meltdowns on the way back but I made it safely home to Georgia and managed to have some fun too.

My first National Park was Badlands in South Dakota. I only had one day there so I didn't get to do a lot of hiking but it was gorgeous and I loved seeing the wildlife and beautiful scenery.

The colors were amazing!

Prairie dogs were plentiful and so cute

Big horn sheep who didn't seem to mind people being around him

Just a bison out for a stroll

I'd like to go back to South Dakota in the future when I have more time to explore all the beautiful places it offers. Where would you go?
